How To Change Template On Blogger
OK. Mates. So, to change the template, make sure you've logged in to your blogger Google account (the account with the blog you need to change/upload the template).
In the blogger dashboard, click Theme. You'll see some default themes there, choose one you like and click on apply (if you want to use blogger themes) you're done.
If you wish to use the custom theme (template), click on the drop-down button. On the pop-up, click restore, then upload the theme by selecting the file and clicking the open button directly from your computer. You're done. Theme (template) successfully changed.
Common Mistakes to Avoid When Changing Your Blogger Theme/Template
While changing the template, consider avoiding the following mistakes;
- Backup before you apply the new theme
- Choose the SEO-friendly template
- Check the layouts (for free custom templates) and remove all the 3rd part developers' links. They used to put on pages like Contact Us and About Us as well on Facebook widgets.
